Dear Washington Residents,

We’re excited to share some important news about the ongoing improvements to the services we provide. Over the past several months, our team has been working hard on overhauling our case management system, with the goal of making our processes more efficient, user-friendly, and responsive to your needs. Thanks to the dedication and collaboration of our staff, we are now in the final stages of this transformation, and we’re looking forward to launching a system that will help us better serve you.

As part of this effort, our team has been collaborating with technology experts and conducting thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues. With all critical issues now resolved, we are focusing on finalizing training for our staff and preparing for the full rollout of the new system. Once this new system has been readied to go live in this new year, we will provide an update.

This new system will be a major advancement in how we handle complaints and cases related to housing, discrimination, and equal employment opportunities. It is designed to improve how we interact with residents, federal partners like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and other stakeholders. By streamlining our internal processes and improving communication, we will be able to provide more efficient and effective services.

What does this mean for you, the residents of Washington state?

  • Faster, more efficient service: The new system will help us respond to your inquiries and complaints more quickly.
  • Better communication: We will be able to engage more effectively with federal partners like the EEOC and HUD, ensuring a seamless process for handling your concerns.
  • A more user-friendly experience: Whether you’re filing a complaint or seeking assistance, the system will make it easier for you to access the services you need.

We believe this overhaul will make a real difference in how we serve you and ensure that we continue to uphold the values of fairness, transparency, and accountability.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to improve our systems and services. Together, we’re making Washington a better place for all residents.

Sincerely,

Andreta M.C. Armstrong
